Quick Collage of my Research
I take hundreds of photograph's and sometimes I don't know what to do with them ll, so this time I decided to collage them.
Letter box snails, dabbed with non-toxic red paint to track them. They go out each night to the grass below and then home again to the letter box. For day time snacks they wait for the mail to be delivered.
More travel pics. The line ones are done by changing settings on my camera.
And finding what appears to be maps in my surrounds.
Traveling back where I stay with dance
This is choreography "The times' toy"
I am always concerned about time, how it goes and come.
Those past become our memories, the future use to become my expectation.
Struggle with ourselves control by time, but living still.
Through to every bits of moments to bring up different emotions, then, you just to know this is life.
mind travel into drewing
Artist inspired
Acceptance, 2008, Bill Viola

During the time when I research, trying to find how I can transform those sense of memories. I found a book which about art of light, then Bill Viola was in there, I am very inspired from his work, especially combined media and theater. such a strong emotion.
Falling Into Bed: Out of a Nightmare
This video was an experiment in animating, which I'm looking into for future works.
This is a depiction of the horrible dreams where you are falling and are awoken on impact.
Little Space Travel
This is a little video i recorded during playing the game "The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter".
Possibly my favorite scene throughout the game. Travel through space within a space craft. A wonderful experience first time watching this while playing the game, the music really made it as well.
This video isn't very clear. Recommended to play small screen.

Game objects pencil drawings
The typical "Christina" idea of drawing.
Four realistic drawings of in game objects. I drew these in game objects in particular within each of these games because they were carried on the character you play within the game throughout all the duration of your travel. These objects played important roles in assisting each character to reach their destination.

High Seas - 2.5D Flythrough
Last week I made a 1 minute compsition using HighC - a free, standalone, graphical music creation and composition software tool.
Basically, this program allows you to 'sketch' music.
Basically, this program allows you to 'sketch' music.
I'd been playing around with the 3d tools on Photoshop a few weeks ago so I thought I'd make a small 3d animation to visually complement the music.
However, I was finding the 3d capabilities in Photoshop really limiting so I decided to give After Effects a go.
I had no idea what I was doing but after watching a couple of youtube tutorials I kind of got the hang of it.
I ended up with this weird little clip, exported it as an MOV, imported to premiere and added the music.
I found the biggest challenge was controlling the camera and lights - you can get lost surprisingly easy in 3d (technically 2.5D) space - its a little shaky but I'm pretty happy with it as a first go!

Painted Marbles and Painted Snails.
Playing with painted marbles and painted snails and layers.
I started looking at snails with the research for the travel project. Wondering how far the five snails in my mailbox traveled. Found out they travel out most nights to the grass below and then back home again at the end of the night.
Next for mapping I'm looking at the similarities between plant roots and map routes
and colour coding.
Gif Experiment's
Here I have found a cycling gif and added a background to the image of one of my pervious posts.
Also I have used and image that i found on the internet and placed the same cycling gif as above but i have added some colour to the gif.
In Solution - Digital video project
The product of several hours of documentation footage of myself paddling on the river.
"A short film documenting my paddling experiences on the Swan River.
I find paddling a solitary and meditative exercise. The goal is to find a rhythm to my movement whereby my headspace clears of its clutter.
This video focuses on the repetition of movement once I've entered this physical and mental space."
mind travel mapping 1
Mapping places that where I want to go next, it could be a present, past or future.
Maybe, it will the place where I want to go the most. Trough to this precess somehow induce me all my momeries comes up also shows how much I am miss my hom.
