bricks sand yellow hole shadow

For our drawing project - 'travel to and from your site' - I walked to my site with a notepad in hand, scrawling down descriptions of everything that caught my eye.

Next I went through all I'd written down and attempted to draw each 'observation' from memory.

 Today in class I've been experimenting with a few different ways of combining these images and text with other images from the internet. These my method to find these images has been to 'google image search' the written description (or similar words) of whichever 'observation' I'm using - say "pulled pork" or "cane chairs".

I'm not quite sure what exactly I'm going for with this method but its been fun so far. At the back of my mind, I have been thinking a little about Kosuth's One and Three Chairs; which is more real:

the 'live action' "shadow of scaffolding distorted by hole in building site" last wednesday at around 10:30am;

my written description of "shadow of scaffolding distorted by hole in building site";

my faint memory of "shadow of scaffolding distorted by hole in building site";

my drawing of "shadow of scaffolding distorted by hole in building site";

or google image search's response to the search terms "bricks sand yellow hole shadow"???

Stop Motion/Gif: Falling

SO MANY LAYERS D:
making all limbs and clothes independent for movement.

Head Space- Journey from Central To Perth Train Station.

The first is one I was working on and the second, with Jeremy's help, he showed me how to add additional frames to smoothen the transition in between.

I wanted to show the day-dreamy feeling of leaving Tafe and going
back to the harsh realities of the 'real' world.

The adventures of the solar grasshopper have been linking research and practice with drawing (travel) and studio (gravity). Scattering pigment was inspired by this clip above from the paving outside the building site next door. The ghost writer/artist working with him using a black sharpie to make some drawings of the travels.
This second clip shows the Fred Astaire soundtrack when he hit the hot metal plate on the way to site.

THE THINGS THAT INSPIRED ME, PROVIDED ME AS A EVIDENCE TO TRANSFORM THOSE EMTION S TO ACTUAL OBJECT.

Orange Effect

Here I have just created a photo using different pictures of cyclist with orange clothing to get the speed movement that shows on the photo.
