Federation era electricity sub-station.

Union Maltings apartments (used to be a brewery, won Australia's Best Urban Renewal Project in 2006).
Site located at corner of Palmerston and Stuart Streets, adjacent to Robertson Park.

Site beautifully overgrown by Blue Lupins and Sour Grass (Oxalis). Surrounded by an eclectic mix of mid-late 20th century architecture.

The Lupins follow the sun throughout the day.
Surface tension captures water droplets on the leaves
Will probably flower some time in late-September
Seed pods may be edible (Lupini beans).

5-storey housing development will pop up here soon. Local residents group isn't pleased as they are concerned the developers have circumnavigated local heigh/density regs and believe the complex will compromise their privacy and cast shadows over their homes.
